I love all the unique activities to do in San Diego and working out with dogs is one of them! Being able to spend time with dogs while exercising in San Diego was one of the reasons I started Paws Play in the first place. It’s proven that petting dogs lowers your blood pressure and increases your endorphins. Working out increases your strength and reduces stress. Combine the two and you can pretty much guarantee you will walk away feeling lighter and have a smile on your face. Here are 3 fun ways to exercise with dogs for the next time you’re in the mood to workout in beautiful San Diego.

San Diego is one of the best cities to be outside all day, every day. So, when it comes to your training goals, why go to the gym and leave your pup at home? Enter Dawn at Leash Your Fitness. She began the first fitness program in San Diego in 2009 that encompasses both you and your dog in a circuit style workout that will train cardio, strength, balance, yoga and dog obedience all in an hour workout. I’m sure both you and your pup will be ready for a nap after one of her sessions.
